From measuring to fitting
Jesse measures the stair opening to the millimetre with a laser and makes a 3D drawing, so you see beforehand how the staircase runs and what it looks like. Then we saw, rout and glue the staircase in our workshop. Fitting usually takes one day.
Which staircase where
A straight flight is the simplest and cheapest. If space is tight, it becomes a quarter-turn or half-turn staircase with winding treads. Floating treads, fixed into the wall or onto a steel beam, make a small hallway feel bigger.
In old houses with a sloping floor we fit every tread individually. You won’t see it, but you will feel it.
